Campo40 Player Participation Agreement & Acknowledgement of Risk
Effective Date: September 7, 2026
1. Voluntary Participation
Participation in tennis matches, tournaments, coaching sessions, and
other activities arranged or discovered through Campo40 is voluntary.
You are responsible for deciding whether a particular activity, player,
coach, court, tournament, or event is appropriate for you.
2. Campo40’s Role
Campo40 provides a platform that helps players connect with other
players, coaches, tournaments, and tennis-related activities.
Campo40 does not supervise ordinary player-to-player matches, verify
court conditions, or control the actions or conduct of participants.
3. Meeting Other Users
Campo40 cannot guarantee another user’s identity, tennis level,
conduct, reliability, availability, or compatibility.
Players should exercise reasonable judgment and appropriate caution
when communicating with or meeting another user, particularly when
meeting someone for the first time.
4. Acknowledgement of Risk
Tennis and related physical activities involve inherent and ordinary
risks. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Slips, trips, and falls;
- Collisions with other players, objects, or court equipment;
- Muscle strains, sprains, and joint injuries;
- Being struck by a tennis ball, racquet, or other equipment;
- Heat, sun exposure, dehydration, and changing weather conditions;
- Equipment failure or improper equipment use; and
- Unsafe, wet, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable court conditions.
By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the ordinary
risks associated with tennis and related activities.
5. Health and Fitness to Participate
You are responsible for determining whether you are physically able to
participate safely in tennis matches, tournaments, coaching sessions,
and other activities.
Campo40 does not provide medical advice or determine whether you are
medically or physically fit to participate.
6. Player Matches
Players may accept or decline match requests made through Campo40.
Pending requests may receive a reminder after approximately
12 hours and may expire after approximately
24 hours.
Players are responsible for confirming all match arrangements,
including the date, time, location, court availability, court fees,
and any other relevant details directly with the other participant.
7. Player Conduct
Players agree to provide accurate profile information and to interact
with other players, coaches, tournament organizers, and Campo40 users
respectfully and appropriately.
Serious or repeated misconduct, harassment, abusive behaviour, unsafe
conduct, or violations of Campo40 policies may result in suspension or
termination of the Player’s account.
8. Paid Services
Creating a Campo40 Player account and using the Platform to find
recreational tennis partners is free, unless otherwise
clearly stated.
Certain services are paid services, including:
- Booking tennis coaches through Campo40; and
- Registering for paid tournaments or events.
Applicable prices and fees will be displayed before the Player
completes payment.
9. Acceptance
By checking the Player Agreement box during
registration or account setup, you confirm that you:
- Have read and understood this Player Participation Agreement;
- Acknowledge the ordinary risks associated with playing tennis;
- Voluntarily choose to participate in activities arranged or discovered through Campo40;
- Agree to comply with Campo40’s Terms of Use; and
- Agree to comply with applicable Campo40 policies.
